If your kid suffering from cold and flu, make him/her drink plenty of water as it helps lubricate the mucous membranes of the throat. Hot drinks like chicken broth, soups, ginger ale, etc. are also a good choice to get speedy recovery from cold and flu.

Lice are tiny parasites that get into children’s hair, lay eggs and cause scratching and itching of the scalp. These are most commonly found in children who start socializing in groups at preschool or school. Use fine-toothed lice comb to remove these lice at home. However, if you want to opt for any medicated treatment, seek a Dermatologist’s advice.

To minimize your child's chances of getting ill, practice prevention by encouraging good hygiene habits in them and make sure s/he eats nutritious food and gets plenty of rest. Also, do retain your child at home until he/she gets completely cured to stop the infection from spreading in other kids. Take care!
